A good carer often relies on the sympathetic support of the staff in head office and, according to many of our carers, Corinium Care excels in this regard. The Corinium Care office staff are always there to offer advice and a listening ear.
Our lines are open between 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday for regular contact. At other times and weekends we operate an emergency line for anyone who needs help.
You will also take part in our continuous training once you have been accepted as one of our registered carers.
We regard looking after our carers as important as looking after our clients and are always there to support you in all circumstances.
Continuity matters:
Realising the importance of continuity to both our clients and caregivers, we try and propose the same regular caregiver for each client so the two individuals can build a good rapport based on mutual respect and understanding.
The carer is appointed for a minimum seven-day period on a live-in basis. You are fully informed of the routine and care aspects of the job before you go and are trained to cope with the needs of that particular client.
